The proposal is about the functional and aesthetic upgrade of an existing office building in Nea Kifissia. In order for the functional requirements of the program to be met, there are additions of new closed spaces. The new spaces are placed as extensions to the existing levels or as height extensions. The new building volumes are “added” and become a part of the original volume composition, in order to complete the current structure of the building and also to create a new typology, according to which every level would be distinct and independent, it would “retreat” or “project”. This way, new open and closed spaces are created, a feature highlighted by the connection of the open space on the second floor, the planted area of the third floor and the roof, which is also the highest spot of the building with an unobstructed view towards Mount Parnitha.

In the strongly developed tourist area of Lindos, in the area "Pefki", the reconstruction of the existing hotel includes the aesthetic upgrade of the complex consisting of different buildings with hotel rooms and common areas.
More specifically, this upgrade includes the change of the facades of the buildings, the complete renovation of the rooms and the bathrooms, the redesign of the common areas and the exterior surrounding area of the hotel.
The main feature of the complex is the rich existing vegetation, which defined the synthetic parameters of the new facades, the final choices of colors and materials and in addition the architectural parameters of upgrading the complex and its surroundings.
The hotel consists of 15 different buildings, with a capacity of 97 rooms and 195 beds.

The juxtaposition of minimal, rigid volumes aligned to the main entrance street is the concept of this housing project. The volumes compose a three-zone structure that serves as a "filter" between the city and the private interior and exterior spaces of the house. In the existing part of the house (built in two phases: in 1949 and 1975), two one-story volumes are added, hosting the family bedrooms.
Linear windows are designed towards the street while significantly larger ones, maximize the view towards the extended Μediterranean garden, where the family gathers. The building materials and colors are natural and earthy, enhancing the integration of the building units in the landscape.

The "Nyx Thessaloniki" hotel is located on Tsimiski Street on the border between the Ladadika and the Ano Ladadika areas. Ladadika has been transformed during the last twenty years to the main entertainment and tourist destination within Thessaloniki City with a strong presence of cafés, bars, restaurants and hotels. Ano Ladadika has experienced a rapid growth during the last three years evolving from a traditional commercial area to an expansion of Ladadika’s tourist and entertainment area.
In this intensely developed touristic area the new hotel is a challenge. It is a building with a capacity of 130 rooms, which at the same time has to cover the tourist need for accommodation as well as the aesthetic criteria. The goal is to create one functional and architectural set, in which the openings and the recessed shapes create a constant dialogue of the vacuum and the full and form the architectural identity of the building.

The development of the Sports Centre aims at the revitalization of the area and the attraction of young people towards athletics within an environment that inspires team spirit, playfulness and visibility of special talents. The building program includes a basketball court, a gym, a swimming pool and an outdoors beach volleyball court.
The Sports Centre is treated as a body that pulsates and transforms through the parameters of the building program and the spatial experience. The potential future expansion of the basketball courts area leads us to the detachment of the volume of the courts and then its reattachment with the rest of the building through a “box” of glass. The free flow of movement from one end to another interacts with the building through the configuration, shift and elevation of volumes, transfusing to the building the playfulness and the pulse of a body in motion. This playful beat responds to the general treatment of the design in terms of floor plans, volumes and façades.
The externalization of athletic activity is a way to broadcast the virtues of athletics and enhance socialization. The design of the building is such as to showcase each person’s qualities and skills but at the same time make them feel like part of a team. The variety of activities happening and the multiple viewpoints animate the building and boost the athletes’ performance.

The main idea derives from the need for integration and coexistence of the building in a particular area surrounded by tall trees.
The main synthetic tool is the creation of a two-volume system which follows in height the scale of the existing trees and at the same time allows the creation of visual escapes and connections of outdoor areas.
Recessed areas and protrusions can be found in each part of the building as to pinpoint the entrance, semi-open spaces and the bedrooms respectively.

The objective of the project was the redevelopment of an existing office building on Syngrou Avenue, a prominent location, as Syngrou is a major arterial road of Athens around which there are plenty of commercial buildings, offices and hotels.
Our proposal is a building that functions as an element that creates a flow of events within the urban fabric, a flow that responds to the experience of movement and passing through that is generated on Syngrou Avenue. The geometrical equivalent of the imprinted movement is the dynamic factor of the façade design. Thus, a unidirectional system of louvers transforms to a dynamic system of 3D formations that comprise the shape of the façade. The latter responds to the principles of bioclimatic design, as it effectively controls sunlight. It is also a variation element, since the framework of the façade provides multiple possibilities for structuring the interior. The terrace opens towards the breathtaking view of the Acropolis of Athens, through the creation of a lounge area surrounded by green.
The proposal seeks to transfuse a central role to the architectural constitution of the supralocal identity that the owning company provides as the key communicative tool. It is an identity that will transform the urban and cultural landscape while showcasing the building as a landmark with a wide range reach.

The 4,544 sq.m. plot is located on the coastal highway, Poseidonos Avenue, and it is a unique spot with a remarkable topography and position within the coastal front of the south suburbs of Attica. The housing complex is one of the projects that are executed within the framework of the recent process of reconfiguration and upgrading of the coastal road axis of Athens and the surrounding area.
The compositional principles of the volume of the building were affected by the particular location and topography of the plot. The views towards the sea, the orientation and the relation with natural light and air were the key factors in forming the basic lines that defined the shape of the volume. The surrounding environment, the building program and the luxurious character lead to the basic directions in responding to the challenge of designing a complex of 94 apartments. The design of the apartments is defined by the spatial necessities and living conditions linked to the contemporary lifestyle. The concept and importance of privacy is incorporated in the design through delicate gestures, so that every apartment provides the necessary private patios, along with green areas, water surfaces and spaces of relief. Each apartment has a unique design, in order to include the structure and the qualities of an autonomous residence. Every floor is surrounded by zones of green and water elements -little urban gardens that transform the exterior views into an extension of the interior living space. This special relation of each apartment to the elements of green and water is gently inserting the building into its natural environment and is intertwined with the special characteristics of the Paleo Faliro area, the sea breeze and the natural light of Attica.

Our proposal for the redevelopment of the interior of a 330 sq.m. office is based on a set of lines-boundaries that organize the space according to function. Auxiliary closed spaces, private offices and meeting rooms are positioned on each side of the entrance area, creating the intermediate framework within a double frontage, open space with a view towards Panepistimiou Street. In this context, the reception area is developed, along with an open-plan office space.
The perpendicular framework of the office is imprinted on the ceiling through a lighting system that follows the geometry and the lines that define the space. This way, there are optical escapes throughout that enhance the visibility aspect within the open area. Equipment pieces and storage spaces are integrated into the design as elements that contribute to leading the light and the eye.
The design concept stems from the necessity of an office space that responds to the needs of contemporary companies and contemporary people. The generation through the design of multiple views, optical escapes and fluidity allows a flow of events in which a person is emerging as an individual but also as part of a dynamic system.

The objective of the project was the redevelopment of an existing office building with a total surface of 3,837.88 sq.m.
The building is on a prominent location and is easily noticed from major transit points nearby, such as points of movement to and from the suburban railway station and the subway and it is also visible from the drivers passing through Attiki Odos.
The redesign of the façade and the interior of an abandoned 42-year-old building aims to contribute to the upgrade of the landscape of Attica and also provide a contemporary office space with a supralocal identity.
The upgrade of the building is realized through the redesign of its façades, the creation of new flow paths that follow the fire protection rules and interior configurations that respond to the demands of an open work space. The design of the external environment is renewed with a new imposing entrance and a cour anglaise that surrounds the building and allows natural lighting and ventilation to the interior.
As a prominent object that is noticeable from Attiki Odos, the building is treated as an especially dynamic volume. The prismatic architectural elements of the façade are interchanged with the openings, creating a contrast that is characteristic of a sculptural object. Mounted on the volume are led lighting tapes alternated with thin metallic louvers in order to enhance the dynamic identity of the building.
